Ingredients:
- 1 large piece of Tomahawk Steak
- 1 pinch of coarse sea salt
Preparation method:
- Let the steak come to room temperature.
- Fill the BBQ with large coals and light them.
- Heat the BBQ to 160°C using a heat shield and air supply.
- Place the steak on the BBQ and cook indirectly until the core temperature reaches 47°C.
- Remove the steak from the BBQ and increase the BBQ temperature to 300°C.
- Grill the steak on each side for 1 minute. Turn the meat a quarter turn every 30 seconds for nice grill marks.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes.
- Cut the bone off the steak and slice the meat against the grain into neat slices.
- Garnish with coarse sea salt.
