Steak Sandwich with Grilled Peppers and Cheddar
A delicious lunch meal perfect for preparing outdoors. Few ingredients, easy to make, and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

1 steak

1 grilled bell pepper

2 sandwiches

2 slices of cheddar cheese

1/2 red onion

Arugula lettuce

French mustard
Preparation method

Cut the red onion and the grilled pepper into thin rings.

Fry the red onion over medium heat for 2 minutes.

Add the red bell pepper and cook for another minute.

Remove the onion and bell pepper from the pan and set aside.

For added flavor, cook the steak in the same pan, depending on desired doneness (3-6 minutes per side).

Check the doneness by pressing into the steak: the softer it is, the more tender and raw the meat is.

Let the steak rest on a board for 4-5 minutes.

Top the rolls with arugula, red onion and bell pepper.

Add a dash of French mustard.

Cut the steak into thin slices and place them on the bun.

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the steak.
