Mashed Spinach with French Sausage
A hearty and flavorful meal, perfect for fishing in France. This stew is seasoned with bacon, carrot, and onion.

Ingredients
- 4 potatoes
- 1 white onion
- 2 carrots
- 1 French sausage
- 250 g bacon
- 1 clove of garlic
- 250 g spinach
- 1.5 L water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Preparation method
- Cut the potatoes into large pieces and boil them for 20 minutes in 1.5 L of water.
- Meanwhile, cut the carrot, onion, garlic and French sausage into pieces.
- When the potatoes still have 8 minutes to cook, fry the vegetables, sausage, and bacon in a pan with olive oil. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the spinach and stir well until it has wilted.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with a fork. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix the vegetable and meat mixture through the mashed potatoes.
- Mix well and enjoy!
